Tile-quantity method
The tool converts tile dimensions from cm to m, calculates single-tile area, divides the target area by that area and rounds up, then adds an 8% waste allowance and rounds up again.
Example check: 20 m² using 60 cm × 60 cm tiles needs ceil(20 ÷ 0.36) = 56 tiles; with 8% waste, the page returns 61 tiles.
